Miami Beach Realtor Ines was born in Nicaragua and came to the USA in 1973 to continue her college education. She married Dr. Gary Flax in 1975. Gary trained at UC San Francisco California and was an active Obstetrician & Gynecologist in private practice in Hollywood Florida for over 20 years. In 1999 he retired to South Beach and Ines began her career in Real Estate. They both reside full time at The Michael Graves Building, 1500 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach, Florida 33139.

Ines was a Dean's List, President's List, and Honor International Business Graduate of FAU, class of 1979. A Florida resident since 1977, Ines moved to South Beach in 1999, joined Temple Emanuel in 1999, The Greater Miami Board of Realtors in 2000, the Miami Beach Leadership Academy in 2003, the Legends Society in 2005, The Master Broker in 2006 and was named the Miami Beach Hispanic Citizen of the Year in 2009.

Miami Beach, FL (October 1, 2009) — Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate is pleased to announce that Ines Flax, Sales Associate at the company's Miami Beach office, has been selected by the City of Miami Beach Hispanic Affairs Committee as the recipient of the 2009 Hispanic Heritage Month Award in the Business Person/Employee category.

Flax was recognized because of her substantial contribution to the Community. She serves as an avid art sponsor for emerging artist events and hosts local art shows and receptions at her place of residence for struggling artists during Basel Week. Flax also gives back by hosting the annual JAFCO fundraising at Jungle Island. JAFCO is an organization dedicated to the welfare of children. She also founded a weekly spiritual study group with Rabbi Sam Intrator.
